Function and area of implementation

The main purpose of the localization and explosions suppression systems is to prevent the equipment destruction and the spread of flames in places of coal mining, transport communications, and related technological equipment.

General technical characteristics, essence of invention

In modern situation, there must be an inextricable link between automatic control systems for technological processes and systems of warning, localization of suppression of explosions. This fact is requires for the development of special means with the forced submission of fire-extinguishing material in the flashlight (explosion) at the time of its occurrence.

General technical characteristics:

  • response system time – no more than 0,1 s;
  • the minimum diameter of the registered fire point from 5 m distance of in the direction of the axis of vision – 0,75 m;
  • angle of flame sensor view – not less than 70 degr;
  • length of the explosion-suppressing zone under the cross-section output 10 m2 – not less than 15 m;
  • rated voltage AC power source with frequency (50 ± 1) Hz – 36 V;
  • power consumption – no more than 10 W.

Advantages of the invention:

  • manufacturability  – ease of use, the system does not restrain the implementation of the main coal mining production processes;
  • safety in the operation – not impressive staff who was in the area of methane and coal dust explosion (flash);
  • effective extinguishing of methane and coal dust explosions or flares in the occurrence initial stage from any possible ignition source;
  • suppression of fire centers almost immediately, which prevents the transition of flashes in the explosion and spread of flames in the production premises;
  • electronic control of the explosion-suppressing complex operation based on the digital signal processing.

Mining of coal mines, localization of explosions in other underground structures and premises (in tunnels, mines, gas pumping stations, ventilation systems, underground, on wood-processing, flour-milling, paintwork and other enterprises, gas-oil companies, elevators, etc.), instant fire suppression in technical devices of military use.
